Hello again! After last month’s in-cosmetics in Paris, during which our stand was incredibly busy, the season of cosmetics shows and exhibitions is truly underway – continuing with Suppliers’ Day 2016. In-cosmetics really was a good show, not just for us as a company but the general feel of the event, the organisation and the venue all gave it a great buzz and the feeling of being part of an exciting and evolving industry – London 2017 has some big shoes to fill.
Next week sees Oat Cosmetics visit the New York Society of Cosmetics Chemists Suppliers’ Day – a two-day event held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. My Colleague, Angus Robertson, will be representing the company alongside our US distributor, Charkit Chemical Corporation, on stand (sorry booth when in America) 837.
I experienced my first Suppliers’ Day last year in California and really enjoyed it. There is a good balance between doing business, networking and industry camaraderie which is why I feel it is such a successful show. If you are visiting next week, then please drop by and find out about our cosmetic ingredients.
The US is a very important market, especially for oat derived ingredients, with Colloidal Oatmeal being first created there in the 1940’s. Today Colloidal Oatmeal is classified as a skin protectant by the FDA according to 21 CFR Part 310 and 347 in Skin Protectant Drug Product Over-the-Counter Human Use: Final Monograph. This means that you don’t just have to take Oat Cosmetic’s words about how good it is for your skin!
Until next time…
