New Marketing and Communications Executive
Rebecca Harris

Oat® Cosmetics, the leading supplier of natural and organic oat ingredients, has appointed Rebecca Harris to the position of Marketing and Communications Executive. Rebecca re-joined the company directly from university in 2014 having previously undertaken an internship whilst studying.

In her new role, Rebecca will play an integral part in ensuring that customers and the wider cosmetics market continue to be aware of the Oat® Cosmetics brand by developing and implementing new social media strategies and communications channels. She will also be fully responsible for event marketing globally, including managing the design and delivery of Oat® Cosmetics’ presence at in-cosmetics 2016 in Paris and liaising closely on regional events with the company’s global distributor base.

Company Marketing Manager, James Daybell, said of the appointment:

‘Oat® Cosmetics has grown considerably during the past year, with marketing playing a key role in our success. Expanding ingredient and distributor profiles, mean that we must work harder and smarter to ensure that our messages of natural, reliable and beneficial oat technology continue to reach formulators and manufacturers globally. Rebecca has really excelled during her time here and  I am confident that she will take this new role in her stride and continue to advance the Oat® Cosmetics brand globally.’

Oat® Cosmetics is a keen supporter of developing talent and works closely with the University of Southampton’s Excel Southampton Placement Programme. When asked about her appointment, Rebecca commented:

‘I am looking forward to my new role and responsibilities at Oat® Cosmetics. Interest in our ingredients is at an all-time high thanks to in-cosmetics and our BSB Innovation Prize award, so these are exciting times. I understand that the challenge ahead is a big one but one that I am ready for.’
