To obtain such results, we employed an innovative dual methodology for collection of both in vivo and ex vivo data. This began with an 8-week period in which our study volunteers – all aged 43-59 – applied 1% AvenaPLex twice daily. After this, we used the cutting-edge Lipbarvis technique to lift corneocytes from the skin, followed by immunohistochemistry for analysis.
