Following the launch of their organic colloidal oatmeal and superfine oat flour, Oat Cosmetics have announced a rebranding of their unique range of Oat based cosmetic ingredients.
The expansion of the product range has necessitated a simplified naming system which allows the customer to clearly identify the various grades in each ingredient group. In addition the new names incorporate Oat Cosmetics trademark word ‘Oat’.
For example under the nomenclature their original colloidal oatmeal is now referred to as Oat COM USP, whereas the newly launche
d organic version is Oat COM ORG. Both these grades are manufactured to the rigorous specification laid down by the United States Pharmacopeial Monograph USP32, are highly versatile and display effective moisturising, anti-irritant and pH buffering properties.
Cara Plumridge, Marketing Manager at Oat Cosmetics explains “We felt that we needed to differentiate ourselves more effectively in an increasingly more competitive natural cosmetic ingredients market. The new names give our superior ingredients a stronger brand identity and also help our customers in international markets to make Oat Cosmetics their first choice.”
Oat Cosmetics stress that there is no change in the quality of their ingredients, the company continue to provide efficacious, highly effective actives that Oat Cosmetics customers have come to expect from them.
The company are currently focusing on research and development and are looking to introduce a number of new and innovative oat derived ingredients throughout 2013. The ingredient rebrand will help to facilitate the continuity with future product expansion.
