New Year, New Roles at Oat Cosmetics

Oat Cosmetics, the leading supplier of oat derived cosmetic ingredients to the personal care market, has started 2018 by announcing the appointment of a new Chairman and Head of Product Development.

Tim Fielder comes in as Chairman, replacing Nigel Freer, who after 5 years at the helm, has retired. Fielder brings a wealth of executive management experience gained from both global IT and logistics corporations as well as running his own business.

Cara Dewis has been appointed to the newly created role of Head of Product Development and will focus on sourcing and launching new innovative ingredients. Dewis joined Oat Cosmetics in 2012 as part of the marketing department and returns from maternity leave to this new role.

Cark Maunsell, Managing Director of Oat Cosmetics said he was delighted with both new appointments, stating:

Cara’s creative attitude and chemistry background, alongside her deep understanding of the personal care sector is ideally suited to this new role and as chairman, Tim will bring new direction and guidance to ensure that the company remains outward looking and progressive in all that it does.”

Oat Cosmetics is exhibiting at in-cosmetics Global, stand F201 and both Fielder and Dewis will be in attendance.
